These provinces register 61% of all cases nationwide between January and June 2022. The ten provinces with the highest number of deaths in situ due to traffic accidents are Santo Domingo, La Altagracia, Santiago, La Vega, San Cristobal, Distrito Nacional, Monseñor Nouel, San Pedro de Macoris, Azua, Duarte.
